Best Western Plus Erie Inn & Suites, Erie

Hilton was mostly excellent but...

Liked: Never stayed at Best Western so comments are about the Hilton we were switched to.
Disliked: Switched us to another hotel because of renovations without notifying us. The new hotel in Erie was great but the locating experience was stressful. No BW sign on the exterior so we had trouble even finding the hotel.I booked the room months ago with one credit card but at checkout I wanted to use a different card. He never asked me and I never thought to ask him and it went through the wrong card.

Really good

Liked: It is really good
Disliked: I think it is a lack of assistance our toilet had some issues, and nobody fixed it even though we did a report.

Exceptional

Liked: Property was clean, they ran out of breakfast items a lot.
Disliked: There pool was freezing. Ran out of breakfast. A lot. Especially the pancake mix and drinks

Liked: I didn’t stay at this property as they collected the money from me but put me up at another down graded hotel
Disliked: Felt cheated

Liked: Recently renovated, good location
Disliked: Keys stopped working—the desk person didn’t even ask for ID or a name to reissue the card, I could have been anyone asking to go into my room

Liked: Property close to our activities
Disliked: We couldn’t stay at best western as they had no clean room available . This is due to staffing shortages in housekeeping.

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: Bathrooms not well cleaned, shower base mouldy, toilet not cleaned properly.Halls had dirty floorsNo breakfast provided. They said they weren’t doing one today…We were told to walk next door to another hotel they owned and take some breakfast from them. A little strange…

Was disappointed. Always stay here...

Liked: Location and the staff at the front desk.
Disliked: Rooms were dusty and no soap was provided. Had to go ask for soap. Next day there was no cleaning service and had to go and ask for towels.

Liked: Location was excellent. Rooms spacious. Breakfast area/ gathering area was a perfect size, well lighted and open for everyone. Also loved the entryway and fireplace sitting area.
Disliked: There wasn’t enough staff to assist all visitors and the rooms and common areas were only surface cleaned. Mirror was extremely dirt and rug half vacuumed.

Passable

Liked: The staff was very friendly and great . The location is great Walmart is like 3 minutes away very convenient for restaurants and the mall is 10 minutes away from location, you go down when it is warm there is a inside water part down the street from hotel. Loved the flavored water that was always cold and refreshing.
Disliked: Not much of a breakfast option when getting up in the morning, I wish it was more options, the juice machine always needed a refill when I kept going to get something to drink. My bathroom could have been cleaned better especially the toilet and shower me and my fiancé went and grabbed Lysol from Walmart because it did not look clean as it should have been.
