Liked: Amazing place to stay. Very modern with an excellent breakfast included. The location is perfect as its opposite the beach and a short walk to the pier or shops and restaurants. All the staff work so hard and it shows.
Disliked: Nothing

Great boardwalk along the bluffs

Liked: Location is great- easy access by the ocean with a nice walking path and grassy picnic area nearby. Hearst Castle and Elephant Seals within 15 minutes. Having a patio was great as well.
Disliked: Would love to have a couple glass cups, but plastic works too.

Basic, but done well.

Liked: Really basic breakfast done reasonably well.
Disliked: Check in had some issues, and took a while to resolve, but sorted diligently. Pool was closed. Room smelled of bleach or really strong cleaning products.

Cute little updated motel with...

Liked: The breakfast was honestly great. Many hotels in the area do not include breakfast. Long lines at many of the restaurants in the area made me happy that it was included. Eggs, cereal, coffee, fruits, breads, meat. The staff was friendly, and also gave some good recommendations for off the beaten path type restaurants. The location can't be beat. Really walkable to all the cute little shops, and the Warf. Lots of free parking! Cute little happy hour with cheese, wine and grapes! The room was clean, and the heater/AC was perfect. No issues.
Disliked: Upon check in, the room I was given was already occupied by someone else. Kind of a mix up, considering I arrived after 10pm. The room I did receive was nice, clean, but noisy in the morning. Right next to the staff cleaning closet (8am start) and the laundry room. It was nice hearing them get along, but it was pretty noisy. My refrigerator was not working, but I didn't need to really use it anyhow. No room service unless you request, but it was fine for me. Pool is kind of in the shade, in the center of the building, so don't go here if you intend the pool to be your focal. The beach was fine for me. Ample free parking was a plus as well, considering the parking time restrictions on the street. Please update the locks that you have on the inside of the doors, near the pool rooms. A chain doesn't give a lot of comfort.

PHENONENAL LOCATION ACROSS THE BEACH.

Liked: The location was absolutely amazing. Beach across the street, the pier and the marina within walking distance, restaurants galore. Clean, great team and service, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic.
Disliked: The room had about 4 broken cosmetic things; the plantation shutters, the AC/Heating unit worked great but had duck tap underneath, the light switch in the bedroom did not work. Also, on the breakfast, there is room for improvement in regards to the coffee; maybe an automatic coffee machine that can do expresso, latte, frapuccino...
