Very nice and comfortable hotel. We would stay there again.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty, comfortable and easy to find.
Disliked: Only negative was they were not accommodating with their shuttle on the Sunday night that we were going to a concert at the Orange County Fair. That shuttle service was the deciding factor as to why we chose that hotel on that particular weekend.

Liked: Restaurant was really nice.
Disliked: Parking fee was ridiculous. 24.00 a day. For what? The security NOT walkiny around? The lady at the front desk who checked us in said it was 24.00 for parking but does not specify per night! And we had to go on their lame app to pay for the parking! Like they could not even do that for the guest! Especially with all the construction going on and having to reroute different ways in the hotel.

Liked: Just contruction was going in by the pool! and sent me to 1 room that smelled like overwhelming cleaning supplies on carpet! so had to change the room and the other room had same smell but not as bad!
Disliked: It was old and needs to be upgraded like carpets had such a bad smell

Convenient pleasant hotel

Liked: Pleasant property not far from John Wayne airport. Less than a mile from Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve--great for a walk. Comfortable bed. Complementary shuttle to places within 3 miles of hotel.
Disliked: Pool was closed. Breakfast not included. Hotel over air-conditioned (it was in the 50s outside). I asked for (and promptly received) another blanket. Fair amount of airplane noise although wasn't too bothersome. Fairly expensive.

Liked: Really nice hotel close to UC Irvine and Newport Beach.
Disliked: No complaints.
