Room was not worth $196.00 for a 1 night stay. No windows in my hotel room. Carpet wasn't very clean. I came back to the hotel to get something I had forgotten and ended up falling asleep so my fiancée tried to come up to the room because she was wondering what happened to me. Well that didn't happen because the front desk employees for Aloft said that the room was in my name only, and since she didn't have a key and she didn't remember the room number, they did not allow her access to our room. They told her she could sleep on the side walk. So naturally my fiancée got offended and got highly upset and the cops were called and she was arrested and taken to Orleans Parish Prison and I woke up alone and had no clue what had happened until damn near check out time. The entire issue could have been solved and she could have been escorted to our room if the Aloft personnel would have simply taken a few minutes to go look at surveillance video of me and her checking into the hotel and entering our room together. As well as additional videos of me and her leaving and entering the hotel lobby together at least 3 more times in a 3 to 4 hour period! I'll never stay at an Aloft hotel in New Orleans or worldwide. And I'll definitely not be using ConcertHotels.com. Total waste of money and a show of complete disrespect and common sense on behalf of Aloft employees. Not to mention the additional $130.00 fine we had to pay thanks to the incompetent Aloft personnel on shift early Sunday morning!

Nice place

Liked: Lovely hotel, stylish and clean. I loved my room. 10 min walk from the touristy part of the city
Disliked: Unfortunately walls are paper thin and the girls behind the wall were laughing and talking pretty loudly starting 8am and wouldn’t go to sleep till late, so I had to live on their schedule. Swimming pool had 2 hours of sun, the rest of the time it’s in the shade

Liked: Trel, the front desk clerk was really nice and super helpful.
Disliked: paying for breakfast, although we chose to go out anyways.
