Very clean room. The front desk is very courteous and friendly. Would stay here again. Only issue I had was a trashcan was not provided in my room. Assuming cleaning staff just overlooked it.

Liked: Clean; friendly staff.
Disliked: Hipsters.

Liked: Location is excellent. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was almost instant responsiveness when I called front desk for something we needed. Rooms brand new and spacious. I don't think we will stay anywhere else.
Disliked: There was some minor construction happening, but it did not really interfere with our stay. No noise issues whatsoever, just a small area of the hotel blocked off.

Excellent service!

Liked: The staff were very helpful! Room was available for early check-in as requested. The room is a vibe and felt like a suite even though it was a standard room!

Loved the W. Would stay...

Liked: Location was great. We would definitely stay here again and spend more time in Union Square area. We were in Times Square for two plays, so only spent a little time in the Union Square area. The room was very nice. The beds, and bedding, were comfortable.The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.
Disliked: There was no hot water in our sink. Thankfully, the shower had hot water. We assumed it was just an issue with all the renovations.
