We have to fear/ be...
Liked: The two women running the guesthouse have been amazing people. The guest house was such a nice place with an lovely and cosy interior. Unfortunately we could just be there for 1 out of 3 nights, because hurricane “Dora” caused a fire nearby wich almost extinguished whole Lahaina and the neighbourhood and threatened our lives. We had so stay in a shelter (Sheraton Resort thanks for opening the ballroom to us!!) during the night from the 8th to the 9th of august. B. and T., the two ladies, have been awesome. They took care of us. We had no electricity during the whole day and no phone service so we depended on the neighbourhood news. They got all the informations we needed, so we new when to leave the place.

We will recommend this place...
Liked: Beautiful and welcoming home. The house and our room were like an art gallery. So well thought out. So we’ll laid out. They definitely provided us more than we expected. Loved all the extras: from the snorkel gear with chairs and a an umbrella offered for free for the duration of our stay to the use of the pool and hot tub under the stars, this house had it all. Tanna and Barbera were excellent hosts and went out of the way to make our stay all it was meant to be.

Liked: Delightful repurposed home with a small number of en suite rooms and run by a very helpful, very friendly hostess who provides free services such as beach and snorkel equipment, coolers etc. all within the charges for the room.
Disliked: Was really a great stay, just know you need a car

Beautiful gem in Lahaina! Don't...
Liked: A wonderful little gem! It's situated in a street so at first you wonder where you're going, but once there you are very pleasantly surprised. We were honestly wowed when we first opened the doors to the guest house, it's honestly so beautiful!! Extremely spacious, having the communal kitchen was great with everything you need and they even add small touches which made all the difference! Such as fruit and coffee in the morning and ice-cold lemonade in the fridge for everyone everyday. HUGE PLUS snorkel equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are all provided/included! They have a washing machine and ironing board as well. Air con worked well, cute little bathroom and the bedroom itself was very spacious - it was the stained glass windows which first caught my eye in the photos and drew me to this accommodation in the first place & they were just as beautiful/what I expected in real life! Great convenient location - only took us about 15mins at most to drive to the the main street of Lahaina and in the other direction to main beaches and also Whalers Village. Would definitely stay here again! Maui is the most expensive island to stay on so all accommodation you find in Maui is always going to be more expensive than what you'd pay for more nights on Oahu. But if you know Hawaii, that is expected. The Guest House is a great alternative when you can't afford those fancy beach resorts ;) I also liked the fact that your hosts are locals and they were very friendly and accommodating, providing all the "tourist advice" you need.

Home away from home
Liked: Couldn’t say enough good things about our stay. Tanna and Barbara were the most accommodating and friendly hosts we could have wished for. If we we ever make it back to Maui we will definitely stay again. Thank you!!
