The room was an absolute disgrace. No heat; had space heaters in the rooms. Filthy; body secretions on the comforters and couch. Hair in the bed, looked slept in. Shower had hair in it and was dirty. Carpets didn't look like they had been vacuumed in forever. Didn't stay; left and went and stayed at Days Inn. Wouldn't refund the room. Worst experience ever.

I booked this hotel because I was trying to save a few bucks, and this hotel looked decent. I will never try to be "thrifty" again. The room wreaked like old smoke - it was grungy, the windows didn't open/close properly, and it was way overpriced for the dive that it is. I would absolutely not recommend the Thriftlodge to anyone, and will never be staying at one again.

Liked: Close to Prairieland Park.
Disliked: Smell; cleanliness; decor; disrepair; overpriced.

Thriftlodge

Liked: I loved the kitchenette, smart tv with cable, and the lamp with usb and c type outlet things.
Disliked: The bathroom door looks like it could fall apart. And the doorknob on the main door doesn't lock. Damage deposit is also $200.

Disliked: The bed by the door had a broken box spring it tipped to one side. A lot of road and train noise. Bathroom is on its last legs. The faucet drips hot water takes forever. Continental breakfast wasn't open yet at 7 guess I should have asked what time it starts. But I had to get going🥱

Liked: we only come here if we’re staying for one night since the rates are so cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. everything is clean but it’s just the small things, and i find it’s pretty hit or miss. all the staff are amazing though.

Liked: Fast, friendly , pet friendly accommodation
Disliked: Outdated furniture and bedding, lacking towels
