I stay in lower end...

Liked: Close to the freeway, close to my venue.
Disliked: No hand soap. Dirty walls. Phone had no cord. No washcloths. Very noisy neighbors. I think people live there.

It was great! Clean quiet...

Liked: The property is very good! Clean and quiet place.
Disliked: We had a hard time opening the door the key doesn’t detect right away we are in room 215

Disliked: Staff was extremely rude, not very clean, ultimities broken

All in all accommodations are...

Liked: I recommend San Luis Inn and Suites for a short stay. It has a Great location. Great Price. It is Comfortable and Clean. They provide Free Wifi, a Fridge and TV. Booking.com will get you the best price and confirmation of room availability.
Disliked: When I called San Luis Inn and Suites to extend my stay with them, the proprietors had a bit of trouble giving me an honest answer about room availability. Since I could plainly see (on booking.com) that there were 4 rooms available, I informed the proprietor that I would be making my reservation online. The next day when I showed up at their transaction window, they claimed that they hadn't received my reservation. The proprietor didn't want to see the confirmation information on my phone. Then came the part where they tried to convince me that it was cheaper to go through them directly, when it was clearly evident from my previous direct purchase experience with them, that the booking.com rate had spared me additional fees. There were more "iffy" interactions, and some pleasant ones too, but suffice it to say, I'll be looking elsewhere for any future stays of more than just a few days.

The room gets the job...

Liked: The price was good, the room was clean. The location was about a 10 minute walk to downtown. Room had a refrigerator and microwave. It has a small swimming pool which looked clean, but the weather was too chilly for swimming.
Disliked: No coffee maker in the room. Manager was a bit cranky, nothing terrible. The other clientele was reflective of the room rates, but everyone was quiet and respectful.
