Stayed here overnight from Philadelphia for a concert. Two double beds; very clean; very friendly; surprisingly nice indoor pool and surprisingly very good food at the restaurant on the premises. No need to go anywhere else. Had a really nice time. Will certainly be staying here the next time I go for a game or concert.
Liked: Clean; friendly; restaurant on premises; great indoor pool.

Disappointing
Liked: The beds were comfortable. The restaurant was nice.
Disliked: The room had ants with wings in the bathroom. The door you had to slam hard to shut. The air conditioning was very very loud.

Poor
Disliked: This hotel needs to be completely renovated! The bathroom was awful. They keep a coffee area on the small bathroom sink counter and it's directly under the hand towel bar so water drips into the coffee basket of items. The closet door couldn't open more than a couple of inches because it was so old and stuck in the tracking, they even left the small piece of old original carpet inside the closet. Obviously left after they removed the old carpet from the rest of the room. Everything just felt dingy, even the restaurant in the hotel. I looked at the included breakfast and couldn't participate in that either. Surprised they're using Styrofoam plates still. I thought it was a great deal at $100 to stay at a hotel in State College but now realize you get what you pay for. It wasn't worth saving a little money and feeling like you can't wait to check out. I won't stay there again and would not recommend either. If they remodel, I would be willing to give them a try in the future.

Liked: Staff, cleanliness, location. Appreciated the hard floor surfaces in room.
Disliked: Old,old infrastructure. Second floor walkway was supported in places from below with temporary lalley columns, and no signs of repairs . First floor rooms with ancient glass wall frontage. Tiny narrow parking spaces, and I'm driving a little Honda CRV.
