Great place shame about the...

Liked: Perfect
Disliked: The extra mile was never there , the bar / restaurant being open was so regimented and closed so early that making it an inch for the front of house was a struggle

Liked: The property is gorgeous. The staff is amazing!
Disliked: The rooms are a little dated and not as clean as I was expecting. The room had a musty smell to it and the shower didn’t smell that great. The bedding was dirty when we got into our room and the beds are very hard.

Beautiful, peaceful location with comfortable...

Liked: Excellent hospitality. The staff went above and beyond for me and my boyfriend. We were celebrating a special birthday, and upon check-in the front desk staff upgraded us to a deluxe room. Very thoughtful!

We'd consider coming back but...

Liked: Room was clean and peaceful; grounds were as lovely as ever.
Disliked: Concierge and hotel staff were not very friendly or helpful. Edgars was closed and Covey Grill wasn't open full hours (and on Easter wasn't serving regular breakfast), but we weren't notified of this in advance. On Easter we were charged full price for a breakfast sandwich "grab and go" meal, even though it didn't come with the sides listed on the menu. Just kind of disappointing to pay $16 for a single egg sandwich.
