Very good but avoid the...

Liked: Great location, amazing views nice pool and good cocktails
Disliked: Some staff were questionable but it was the spa which was most disappointing to say the least! Received a text on a promotion the spa were doing so I went and booked it the girl on the desk looked at me like I was talking a different language and didn’t know what the promotion was but said she booked me in? Next morning I arrive on time and was waiting 45 mins to then be told the massage lady hasn’t arrived and she’d be probably another hour or so .. this was my last day what a waste of a last morning. So I didn’t get the massage so do not bother wasting your time with spa!

Liked: I loved the pool area the restaurant outside staff was nice
Disliked: The room was not clean the beds had hair and blood on them. I had to call the front desk 4 times to get house keeping. When house keeping arrived they tired to put new sheets on the same bloody and hairy protective cover. The accommodation for this incident was not worth it. It should have been a room change/upgrade free stay more credit etc.

Liked: I love the Mondrian, my partner and I love staying here cause of the lovely beach club. The location is pretty decent for moving around south beach, and getting Uber or Lyfts. Our room was spacious but needs a bit refurbishing and updating. The pool was awesome and water tempreture wasn't too cold which was lovely to have, the pool staff are pleasant and very helpful.
Disliked: Our room was spacious however the bathroom is very tight especially the placement of the toilet, they could use some renovations and the light system need to be updated too. The house keeping clean up the beds and bathrooms but they neglect a lot the stuff in our rooms when it comes the cleaning of the room, our area table had previous stains from the last customers and you could see the stains from far. The only negative for the Pool area is the sun bed as some were damaged and the cushions had a damp scent which is not worth seating on.

Disliked: Someone tried to break into our room, their card opened the door but we had the latch on. It is overrun with very young people partying. The rooms were so sparse there wasn’t even a drinking glass, no coffee, dark and dank bathroom.

Relaxing stay

Liked: Nice spa at the hotel, with amazing staff. I accidentally left my necklace in the spa robe and I was contacted by them to say they had found it, I hadn't even realised it was missing! I am very grateful for that. Easy check in, glass of prosecco and bottle of water on arrival. Large room with great city views. I told them when booking it was for my birthday and I arrived to a bottle of prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries in the room. Nice pool area but it does get busy quickly, arrive early. Cafe and shops in walking distance
Disliked: Room is a little dated for my taste, but it is still comfortable and clean.
