Great value for money
Liked: The location is amazing - right next to the Empire State Building. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was bigger than we expected by the reviews on Booking - we had a big and comfortable bed + small but convenient closet. We had everything that we needed for a lovely 6-day stay. Great starting point to explore the city!
Disliked: Our room was facing the street and it was quite noisy, next time we will request a quiet room.

Central & Comfortable Stay
Liked: Very central location and friendly professional staff. It was great to use the gym too. Room was clean and comfortable. What happens re the security deposit? I see it is still pending deduction on my bank account?
Disliked: Only little thing we would have appreciated would be a kettle/ tea making facilities. A minor problem with some noisy neighbours while we were there but this is not the fault of the hotel

Not accessible to wheelchair users...
Liked: Decent location.
Disliked: They claim to have one accessible room, but the bathroom isn't accessible. We had a guest who was a wheelchair user (which had been told to the hotel in advance), and still the shower/bath was not accessible for her to the point that she fell down and hurt herself trying to use it. Appalling that they have the tag 'fully accessible for wheelchair users' and that booking would allow them. In addition, this is the second year in a row that we send a delegation of people to stay there a week and though all deposits are paid in advance, they still ask some of the guest to pay them on arrival - in one of the occasions telling one of the guests that if they did not pay the deposit they would have to leave the following day.Edit: Realised a few weeks after that unauthorised charges had been done to my credit card (charges consumed by two of the guests were charged to someone else's credit card remotely without authorisation) and we were charged 100 USD extra for one room which were not refunded - and this was not the deposit as deposit was paid separately. I've been following up for a couple of days with the hotel to get an explanation as to what these charges are and why would they charge a card remotely without authorisation (it isn't even the one on the bookings), but have not heard back yet.

Disappointing
Disliked: So the night before I suppose to check in my flight got delayed twice and it ended up got canceled I was devastated and I proceeded to call the hotel wanting to tell them I will not be able to come in tonight I will check in tmr morning around 8 am. So I called the front desk on April 5th at night while I was crying at the airport, and I was not being rude or giving attitude at all I was just sobbing while telling him what happened and the stuff was extremely rude he said okay but what do you want me to do about it? I didn’t want you to do anything about it I’m just informing you I will not be able to check in untill tmr. The attitude was extremely rude it caught me off guard and he sounds extremely annoyed. Thank good I finally got to the hotel the next morning and checked in the lady working at the front desk was really nice everything went smoothly. However on my second night after dinner I came back to the hotel. And I realize I ran out of water and I didn’t have the password for wifi so I decided to go to the front desk and ask, and it was a guy working there and I asked politely about the water and he replied with don’t you have two water in your room? With an rude attitude and I explained yes but I ran out so I’m thinking can I have another one and he said no sorry I can’t do it. And all of sudden something clicked in my head this is the same guy that answered my call that night with extremely rude attitude! Then I process to ask for wifi password and he replied with didn’t they give it to you when you check it ? I said no he said it’s on the room key I said I didn’t see it sorry can you tell me again? And he was just sounds and looks very annoyed and ended up giving me the password. I really don’t understand the attitude I don’t think what I was asking was a lot it was some basic needs. And I traveled a lot been to a lot different hotels I never ever met a front desk that is this rude, the way he talked to me made me feel like this is a motel.
