Disliked: After making online reservations for two queen beds and two dogs, I was informed at the desk that I "was lucky" they had one pet room left. I told then I made reservations months ago. They were very rude and unhelpful with questions regarding our stay, directions, even where to take the dogs to go potty. Would not recommend.

This Holiday Inn could use...

Liked: Enjoyed the food provided and especially the reception night was excellent! Bed was comfortable, as well as the pillows. We appreciate the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. We usually look for Holiday Inns to stay at as you are a good provider of comfort, value and great experience.
Disliked: The SMELL! It was an air freshener overload!!! We wondered what happened that such excessive deodoriser was needed?We asked the front desk and she said it was over powering and unplugged it which helped but it was such an artificial smell as well. The floor/carpet in 202 was dingy /dirty looking and very worn. The over powering smell was in the room as well so we wanted to open the window but it only opened 6 inches. We also noted the computer plug outlet between the beds was not functioning so finally found one on the other side of the room. Music...it did NOT fit the ambience of such a lovely older home. It was more for a younger crowds car radio station...and the larger majority of guests we saw were the 50+ age range. Suggestion: instrumental vs. singing as background music....It does not have to be all classical, but something of more cozy background coffee house, piano and guitar etc..

Beautiful, comfortable and delicious breakfast!

Liked: Unique on top of hill where you can see the town. It was very fancy. Amazing breakfast, husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Would stay here again.

Liked: The location was great and the hotel stands out because it sits on a hill.
Disliked: Truthfully, I don't care how many events were going on at the time, the room was far from being worth over $400 per night.
