Overall, it was a nice...

Liked: All of the staff members that we talked to or needed something from were extremely nice!
Disliked: The room was nice, but the beds definitely were very comfortable. It will also be nicer once the renovations are complete.

Liked: I like that the hotel is getting renovated, alot of updates needed. Look outdated and worn down.
Disliked: Smells like mold, old drapes in room, sofa bed the mattress looked dirty and was flat as a pancake, felt all the springs.carpets old and filthy. Shower was very old, held up with cauckung, facuet was lose. For the price per night, no complimentary water, hair dryer, or fresh clean room. Room had deodorizer for mold but they looked dirty

Great stay

Liked: The location was perfect for us, as we wanted just a short trip into Dallas before going to Fort Stockton. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was as expected. The staff was friendly and kept the breakfast stocked nicely.
Disliked: The drink machine nozzle did not appear to have been cleaned, but yet only stayed for one night so I do not know if they clean it after we left.

Liked: Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: We were not told it was under renovation. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Elevator was sketchy and the floor was taped up. Walls and drapes were dirty. Couch had stains. We felt very uncomfortable.

Wait until the renovation is...

Disliked: Hotel is being renovated so had to deal with construction mess, smells, and noise. Our room was one in need of renovations. Musty smell from the floor AC unit. Bathroom floor tiles were loose and creaky. I imagine it'll be better once the renovation is complete.
