Not a good value for the dollar. Will not recommend to others. Had been there back in mid 1990s and it was awesome.
Disliked: Not enough food venues open for lunch on Tuesday or when returning from Opry on Tuesday evening.

Disliked: The language barrier between housekeeping and I, but I made it work.

Bad
Liked: I visited for one night, specifically to visit the water park (Soundwave). A staff member advised us to come at 4:00pm when we were there at 3:00pm. Upon arrival at 4:00pm, the manager informed us that the capacity of the water park is limited and requested us to return tomorrow. I explained them our travel time from Georgia, which was a 5-hour drive, as we spent $511 on the trip just to stay there for one night and we are leaving tomorrow, and we just came specifically for the water park. However, they did not allow us to go to the water park. Therefore, I will advise against anyone recommending this particular hotel.

Beautiful hotel and gardens, but...
Liked: The hotel and gardens are beautiful.
Disliked: For a being a premium hotel, and paying a premium to stay here, I feel the resort could have included parking in the price of our stay. An extra $37 per night for parking seemed unnecessary, especially when we stayed at The Guest House at Graceland and the new Heart Song Resort at Dollywood this trip, and both of these resorts offer FREE parking to hotel guests. For as big as the gardens/atriums are, you can see all of it within an hour of walking around, then the novelty of it wears off. I did appreciate that they tried to make an event out of their water fountain at night time, but overall, the night time water show was underwhelming (and didn't seem all that different from the fountain at any other time of the day). All of the music seemed like royalty free songs you hear in cheesy Instagram/Tik ToK ads. In a resort that shares its name with the Grand Ole "Opry" and is located in "Music City," I was expecting to hear real country music!I would have loved to see some other free perks for staying at this resort. Both the Guest House at Graceland (Memphis) and the Heart Song resort (Dollywood) had LIVE music nightly, and nightly snacks/treats. Having some extra little things like this would majorly increase the vibe at this resort.
