Disappointing

I was in Macon for...

Liked: I was impressed that the manager, guessing it was the manager, tried to reach me prior to checking in to make sure I really wanted a smoking room. He said that many people reserve a smoking room in error and just wanted to make sure that's what I wanted. The breakfast set up was clean and food was tasty.

Would stay again passing through.

Liked: Great halfway point to Orlando. Clean enough.

Liked: Breakfast was so small, a worker yelled at us to hurry up and eat and go back to our rooms in case other people wanted to sit (there were at least 4 empty tables, we had only been there for about 10 mins), location was easy to get to but in a very unsafe spot, the car next to us was broken into. The only good thing about it was the kid working at the front desk was friendly.
Disliked: Walked into our room and saw a tampon in the toilet, blood on a towel, a tv that didnt work, and a piece of broken plastic that my 11 month old found in our bed and almost choked on. Nothing about this stay was good.

Liked: Good location and very accommodating about my dog.

Exceptional

Liked: The friendliness and willingness to help, as well as the patience and respect of the young man at the front desk. He was able to upgrade our room to a first floor one, so we wouldn't have to drag our baggage up to the second floor. He is truly a gift to your organization. We had a problem with our TV and again, he was here in just a few minutes and patiently explained what we didn't know about the operation of the TV. Had a genuine smile the whole time.
Disliked: If we could have stayed longer.
