The rooms were fine, but...

Liked: The front desk clerk was nice and helpful. The breakfast attendant was on top of everything. Rooms were spacious and clean.
Disliked: The levels of chlorine in the pool were insane. Either there was a problem with not ventilating it properly or there was just too much. All of us left with raw and extremely irritated skin. While we were in the pool area, we all experienced burning eyes and coughing caused by the chlorine levels/fumes. It was very hard to breathe in there. Our son was even coughing so much at one point that he threw up. We stay at waterpark hotels regularly. This was our first time here. We’ve never experienced anything to this level. We booked this for the waterpark facilities and were disappointed that we couldn’t stay in there long enough to enjoy it fully. Other people around us were also complaining about the same thing.The lifeguards in the pool area seemed to not be paying attention. Some were even on their phones and not really watching the water. There were a few times when our kids said that there weren’t even lifeguards at the top of the slide. It was also almost impossible to get towels in the evening. We ended up not getting towels and having to walk back to our room cold and wet. Just overall frustrated with the chlorine situation. The waterpark could only be enjoyed in short spurts. We will definitely not be coming back. I really wish I would’ve read reviews on this place before booking.
