Working with hotel staff very...

Liked: Upon walking in, the entry and facility looked decent. That's where the positives ended.
Disliked: The short version of our experience is the management and people at the counter of this hotel are not good at all (nicest way I can say that). I had booked our family stay via one of the major booking sites within 48hrs of check-in. Less than 24hrs after that I had to cancel. I requested for them waive the cancellation fee. I've had to do this in the past(different hotel), and that hotel did it with no problem. This hotel however made the next 3 days of correspondence with them, and the booking site a total waste of time. If they had zero intention of considering my request, they should have just said that right away. Instead, they had me calling back numerous times, I stopped in to talk in person, I called the booking site many times etc. What a pain. In the end, the "manager" was never available (for all I know, I was talking to the manager the whole time). And the front desk employees "don't have access to the hotel email account" - This just isn't believable. So much run around and them talking in circles to just be told days later they were not going to waive the first night fee. I would have been fine if they just said that right off the bat. But to have wasted my time for days on end was extremely frustrating. Avoid this place.I should have read the Google reviews before booking. There are numerous complaints about staff. Also there were multiple reviews about safety concerns. I did note some people hanging around the premises (outside) at night that made me happy I cancelled my stay.

Disliked: My bathroom needed to be moped, there was like a film on the floor. Definitely did my own cleaning in the room when we first arrived. There was also a cross/ x scratched into our mirror.

The customer service was awful....

Disliked: The housekeeping is available on select days. I had a 2 night stay starting from Saturday. I would’ve expected housekeeping would’ve been available on Sunday since that’s like the highest chosen day out of the week for guests to check out.

Liked: Location, location, location.
Disliked: The breakfast was horrible. The sausage was so bad I couldn't finish the first bite. The fruit was very very old.the eggs had to have been cooked the night before to get that dry. You should require at least one parent to be with young children that are

good; as advertised.

Liked: Breakfast was great. Food was always warm and always well stocked. It was quiet, clean, and seemed relatively well maintained. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The rooms are quite snug. For the number of people expected to sleep in there, closet and drawer space was at a premium. The desk chair got in the way of getting around the bed a lot. The bathroom didn't seem to have a exhaust vent fan that turned on, so the room got humid post-shower.
