The Chesapeake Arena was a perfect venue to see a concert. Every seat is a good seat and you feel like you're right there next to the stage. Also the staff was extremely friendly and the restrooms were immaculate.
Liked: Seating, the view, the sound was all great.
Disliked: Long lines for drinks.
Joy, Broken Arrow

Could see everything even from upper deck. Pre game was awesome - they really put on a good show before and during the game.

Attended another Thunder game at the Peake. The staff, although always busy, is very efficient and friendly. There's not a bad seat in the house for the games, even in Loud City.

Dea, Dallas
This was a great venue for a big concert. Loved having the stage in the center where the performers could move around.

Downtown Oklahoma City is a lively area. After the game, the streets will fill with the revelry of crowds in the mood for a beer in one of the many local bars and diners. The historic Bricktown District is also nearby. Head in this direction to see renovated warehouses and for boat trips along the canal.
Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse
A ten minute walk from the arena, this classic steakhouse welcomes diners into its large Bricktown restaurant for succulent meats cooked over an open flame. And don't forget those all-important sides. There's grilled rosemary zucchini and fried okra, along with your more traditional options such as creamed corn and fries.
Fuzzy's Taco Shop
Margaritas whiz in blenders behind the counter as diners order up their snacks at this fun shop. Don't be expecting any white table cloths, but you will get fast service and a taco or burrito overflowing with cheese and fillings including shrimp, beef and vegetables.
Bricktown Brewery
Housed in an old candy factory, this place keeps visitors sweet with its handcrafted local beers and microbrews. It's not just about the drinks though. The menu includes offerings like buttermilk fried chicken salad and black angus beef burgers with sweet peppered bacon and shoestring fries. Plus artisan pizzas and meatloaf sandwiches.
National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
This museum will tell you the many stories of the American West. Discover the unique artwork and culture of the area's Native Americans, along with the ranch-life and rodeos of cowboys and cowgirls.
UCO Jazz Lab
Got an extra evening in the city? Check out the easygoing vibes of this jazz lounge, styled after the best of New Orleans. Regular performances can be enjoyed along with a beer and pizza.
If you want to avoid the traffic, jump on one of the Oklahoma Spirit Trolleys which connect several of the offsite parking lots and downtown locations. Alternatively, start planning your drive - the arena is located at 100 West Reno Avenue, Oklahoma City.
Prices aren't outrageous: a jumbo hot dog might be $4.50, nachos with cheese and jalapenos $5, cotton candy and pretzels $4.50. You can get a cool one in, too. An average domestic beer can be yours for $6.50, while a domestic draft will stretch to $7.50 or more. After a little vino? Dig into your pocket for around $9.
Yep, you can jump online for free, making it more than easy to upload a selfie.
There's underground parking in the Cox Convention Center which costs around $8. If this garage is full, try the dozen or so parking lots around the arena that cost $5-20. Or look out for the free spots on nearby streets - you might just get lucky.
Doors open 90 minutes before the event begins, so you'll have more than enough time to get in a few snacks and find your seats.
Some banners are allowed as long as they don't block other people's view. Because signs are great until you get one stuck in your face for the entire game.
Want a face tattoo? Okay, maybe just a temporary one then? Find a Spirit Zone on each level for a bit of fun with tattoos and caricatures.
