We ate at the hotel restaurant. The bed was comfortable. The room was a nice size and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We valet parked our car and it was taken good care of. We would stay at the Wyndham again.

Liked: We had a nice experience at the hotel.

It's a very old hotel but it is in a fantastic location for Manhattan. The price is exceptional for a NYC hotel and it is a clean, safe place to stay. Rooms were a little small but wouldn't stop me from staying again. Friendly staff.

Liked: Great location; nice price and clean.
Disliked: Small rooms.

Would stay again, only in...

Liked: If you can get an updated room it is great! Great Location and the room is perfect!
Disliked: They tried to put us in an old room even though we paid an upgrade fee....called to front desk and the person was rude so I spoke with the manager and he got it squared away and put us in a nice room although NO view and we paid for a view.

Liked: Clean room with a comfy bed, not a very big room but just what we needed. Beautiful hotel, would recommend, very close to Times Square and the subway

Really enjoyed my visit, will...

Liked: Staff was awesome and every person was glad to be of any type of assistance. The property has a lot of history and some great amenities such as the Tick Tock diner on the first floor! Well worth the visit. I loved the extra attention that every employee gave, even the cleaning staff were very personable and polite and helpful. We felt almost like royalty by how the people treated us from check-in to check-out.
Disliked: Bathroom was a little small, but it is an older building.. not detrimental - it served its purpose. We slept two to a bed and one on the sleeper sofa (5 in the party). The 'queen' beds in the rooms were more like 'full' and seemed small for sleeping two to a bed unless you are a person of small or average stature. While the bathrooms are likely harder to change, it would be worth the loss of a foot or two of space to upgrade the two beds in the room to true 'queen' sized.

Liked: I love the location and the security at the hotel. The staff was friendly both at the front desk and by the elevators. My bed was nice and comfy and my room was clean.
Disliked: I humbly feel that the hotel need to refresh in terms of colors, brighten up a bit. My bath room show was old as well as the tub.

Disliked: House maid service was very bad. No towels replaced & no coffee cups replaced, even when thrown out.
