Wyndham Houston near NRG Park/Medical Center

Check in was at 3 pm which was ridiculous. Reserved a non-smoking room but the room smelled like cigarettes - even the lobby smelled like cigarettes. Tried to order room service for breakfast but no one answered so we had to drive and find somewhere to eat. For the amount we paid for one night I think it was a rip off - totally disappointed with our stay. The staff were friendly - the only positive I noted.

Liked: I liked the friendly staff; they were very welcoming and even helped me by pointing me in the direction of attractions throughout the city!
Disliked: The shower was very difficult to get a balance of warm and cold water. I wish there were updates on the handle since it was really hard to more.

Great location and very clean.

Liked: The location was outstanding. We were able to walk to the Metallica concert.
Disliked: The toilet was leaking onto our bathroom floor, and the room was not very soundproof.

The only thing good about...

Liked: I liked the location.
Disliked: The hotel is very outdated. It smells like mildew and smoke. The beds a a lot uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft for my liking (pillow firmness is a personal preference though).

Would stay again!

Liked: Great location for a staying near the stadium!
Disliked: Dated bathroom and elevator. The lack of a microwave and fridge was also disappointing.

Disliked: Very outdated, icky and dusty, roaches, weak outlets, raggedy and small elevators that barely fit the luggage buggy. Hallways had spiderwebs. Would not book here again.
