Fantastic quirky room close to...

Liked: Brilliant location with parking. Easy walk to shops, river and sights. Room was very quirky and comfy with lots of little extras like a radio, fridge and homemade biscuits. Food fantastic.
Disliked: The flights of quite steep stairs.

Excellent location; a busy, attractive...

Liked: Olde-worlde pub room, comfortable and a great Winchester location. Busy, clearly well-liked locally. Quieter overnight than we expected for such a central area, which was appreciated. We took dinner there - not inexpensive, but very high quality and therefore extremely enjoyable. We cut breakfast short we we needed to get away early, but the fayre looked excellent and we tucked into salamis and cheeses, They have a proper chef who appears to be a long-term asset. Recommended.
