Liked: First the location; set in the countryside above Haltwhistle meant that there were fabulous views across the fields.Linda, the hostess couldn't be more welcoming and was a delight to talk to about the area in general, and the farm in particular. The room was extremely well equipped with the usual tea and coffee making facilities, but also included items not normally found in a B&B, such as a fridge, toaster and microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a really good night's sleep. Finally the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had with a selection of fresh fruit and cereals as well as croissants, jams and many other items, too many to list, but the crowning glory was the cooked, full Northumberland breakfast. This alone makes a return visit a must.

Rural tranquility with luxury

Liked: Full height into the eaves barn conversion, with superbly comfortable bed and tidy wetroom ensuite, private kitchenette area, quite and rural location and super friendly hosting with the best breakfast in the county (home made pancakes a treat to take away on our bikes).

Liked: Clean, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast
Disliked: A fridge in the room would be of benefit.

Liked: Spacious, excellent facilities, generous and charming host. Linda’s cooking is just the best and our whole experience was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable - glad to know we have a 5* accommodation option when we next travel North
