Very disappointed, wasn't clean, left...
Liked: Wasn't going to arrive until after hours but Keisha that works the front desk was amazing. Very professional and helpful and was able to move my reservation into the next day without penalty so I can get a full stay since I was arriving so late and she did everything in her power make sure she met every one of my needs and that I was taking care of!
Disliked: Unfortunately, though the staff was amazing and I have no complaints about any of them and they all did exceptional, very professional, caring and go out of their way to take care of their guests the building and its condition and cleanliness fell very short. When I arrived in my room definitely noticed there was a German cockroach infestation and that was the first thing I saw immediately upon arriving in the restroom and in the kitchen area. I would kill one or two and then two or three more would come out and so on and so forth. The bathroom definitely was not cleaned at all from previous guests. All of the fixtures in the restroom from the sink to the shower was absolutely caked from soap scum and did not look as if they were even wiped off in probably a couple months. The room smelled of stale cigarettes and mold. The hallways leading to the room was quite dirty. Trash left in the hallways, I saw little patches and balled up hair matted in the carpets either from leftovers vacuuming that got entangled or someone pulled old hair from their brush and looks as if they just dropped it on the carpet in the hallways and left it. I felt very let down and disappointed because this little hotel has so much opportunity to be so much more and really wouldn't take a whole lot to get it there if they overcome whatever issues or troubles they are currently facing. I have extensive background in the hospitality industry and directly with hotels and resorts and with the right ownership, care, good leadership, staffing it could be much more than it currently is and from the few staff that I had met on this trip, I believe with proper direction and empowerment given by upper management you would see this hotel become what it should. I was just very disappointed and let down, especially since this was my very first time at this brand of property.

Liked: Did not stay for breakfast.
Disliked: I expected coffee in the room. But we left so quickly that we wouldn't have fixed coffee anyway. There was no kleenex in the bathroom. Uncomfortable chairs to watch TV.

Disappointing
Liked: Room had German cockroaches & the room smelled like curry. The office staff was very polite , the maids were slacking.

Roaches & Mildew
Liked: Room had German cockroaches & On my previous stay one week prior my tub backed up because it the drain was full of hair & slime that had obviously been there a while. The handrail to the tub was pink & slimy due to mildew. I had to clean the tub because it was gross.. The office staff is great I think they need to have a supervisor check the rooms because the maids are not diligent in there duties.
