Construction ROOM

Liked: The bed was comfortable & staff was somewhat friendly
Disliked: It was literally a construction zone!!! All the pictures they show are what it's going to look like. The bathroom had construction mess all over the floor, the ceiling had yellow spots, there was nowhere to hang towels, nothing was finished! There was only 1 nightstand, no lights by the bed, no place to hang your clothes! The room was supposed to have a sofa and there wasn't one!!! There was a large piece of furniture standing in the room with plastic rap all around it!! There was construction going on the same floor as our room. Loud noises several times that night! This room was definitely not ready to rent out!!!!!

The customer service desk nor...

Liked: Wouldn’t know if I like it or not as somehow my reservation got changed from March 23-24, 2024 to March 30-31, 2024 without my authorization or approval. Been a month and my refund still has not been sent, even though I was promised a refund due to us having to book another hotel.
Disliked: We booked this hotel for 3:23-3/24. We showed up on the 23rd only to find out that somehow our booking date got moved. We spoke with booking.com about getting a refund because we weren’t able to stay in the hotel. I was told I would have a refund no later than April 4th-April 7th. We are not on April 23rd and I still have not been issued a refund. We call booking.com customer service and they are saying g they are waiting on the hotel. We call the hotel and they say that they gave verbal authorization. We called booking.com and they said they need written authorization. We call the hotel and they say that they never received the request. We called booking.com and they said that they sent the verification. I’m out almost $200.00 and no one seems to know how to get me my money back. Extremely frustrated that I paid $400.00 for two different hotels and can’t seem to get my money back for a hotel I never got to use. Booking.com nor the hotel are working with us after both promised us a refund.

Wait until renovations are over...

Liked: Location was good. There’s a restaurant next door.
Disliked: They were conducting renovations, every morning we would be waking up to the sound of construction happening up and down the hallway.The dining area was under construction, they would just move boxes and things aside during breakfast time. There were exposed wires in the room where they hadn’t finished. There was no ventilation in the bathroom so expect mold in a few years.

Liked: Room was ok, but the rest of the hotel was under construction. Shouldn't really be open till they are done in my opinion. Many things did not work correctly. Paint everywhere in rooms like they just finished painting. Beds were comfortable though.

not a place to stay...

Liked: great shower. The room was clean and the bed was very good. Did not eat breakfast or even check it out so I can’t comment. Check in gentleman was friendly, but did nothing about the broken glass in the parking lot.
Disliked: did not know the whole hotel was being remodeled. There was broken glass in the parking lot that I told them about and was there the whole time I stayed for three days without being cleaned up. boxes and replacement materials everywhere inside and outside. I would’ve made a different choice had the renovation been revealed. also, there were big holes in the parking lot. As I was on my motorcycle, I had to be careful. I saw several guests cancel the reservations and go to a different location. On their website and Booking.com.

Under renovation right now, room...

Liked: The gentleman that checked us is was lovely.
Disliked: That we didn’t know about the current state of construction at the property.

Liked: Only good thing is the pool.
Disliked: They are in the middle of remodeling. Microwave and fridge didn’t work. Night staff is very intrusive. Didn’t feel comfortable at all. Felt like I was being monitored all the time.

Liked: Front desk employees not Deaf Friendly
Disliked: Check things to be sure things are in order before people check inFor example door lock was broken. Key card not working 8 times front desk rolled their eyes twice and they checked keyboard themselves twice. Why the attitude ?TV -no closed captioning. That TV has few Issues so I had to request for diff TV or change room... they changed TV about one hour later...AC unit kept going off I had to turn AC on every fifteen minutesOther that than -that particular hotel was fine
