Wingate Houston near NRG Park/Medical Center

Great location, good rooms but...

Liked: The room was very comfortable and cozy. Everything seemed very clean and tidy.
Disliked: Alot of things were out of service or in poor condition. The hallways seemed a little damp. Even for a complimentary breakfast it was very lackluster.

It was just convenient.

Liked: That is was walking distance to the venue.
Disliked: There wasn’t much to like. It wasn’t a nice hotel. The shower was gross so we didn’t even use that.

Liked: Location was very good
Disliked: No working elevators, had to take stairwell which smelled like urine and mildew , No hot water ( had to take cold shower last night, even my daughter had to take a cold shower), rusty tub (had to stand on towels to avoid touching rust , debris on balcony

Liked: Absolutely nothing !!! When I walked in I thought I was in Motel 6 !! I was definitely mislead about this Hotel !!! Rooms were so OUT DATED !!! Barely had cable in the room.. had Nats .. gates were all locked and closed for access to the property had to drive around was so inconvenient!! The PHOTOS on here are fake this hotel looks nothing like the photos!! The PHOTOS ON THIS SITE IS FAKE !! Fraud!! Just sad !!
Disliked: Room had Nats !! The BED WAS OLD!! Had an old chair inside I wanted a refund !!! The tub was so outdated !! Room smelled like old wet clothes !! Anyone wanting to book at this hotel please check out the reviews on the hotel site and not on booking site !! I wish I had checked on the hotel site !! The hall ways were musty and HOT!! Never again !!
