Liked: The location is great; it?s close to everything while still being situated in a very quiet street. The hotel has a lovely garden.
Disliked: The way they make the beds; the sheets (matress covers) just don?t fit. As soon as you role over or sit on the bed, you?re lying on the bare matress. Very annoying. The keycards constantly stopped working; we had to go back to reception on multiple occassions to reactivate them. It?s no fun having to walk back to reception through a smoldering hot hotel during a heatwave. We were there during a heatwave, which is ofcourse not the hotel?s fault. But the windows in the room can only open approx. 10 cm because they have a security latch on them. In addition, on our day of arrival the staff didn?t bother closing the curtains in the morning in order to keep some of the heat out.We were only supplied with one toiletroll and had to go back to reception twice to ask for more when we ran out. There are only two channels available on tv. I appreciate you are not in Winchester to watch tv, but only two channels?

Liked: Lovely location with seating area outside. Very relaxed.
Disliked: The room was roasting hot (no air con) and it was very difficult to sleep. The windows would hardly open.
