Great hotel in great loaction

Liked: Location right in the centre of Winchester
Disliked: Parking was a little tight, and an extra £15, and not bookable.

Excellent short stay in central...

Liked: large quiet room with view over garden. Very good breakfast. Superb central location and lovely garden
Disliked: Car park was too expensive at £30 for two nights.Breakfast room was understaffed and unfortunately was all self-service

We’d certainly return if we...

Liked: Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast offering and convenient parking reasonably priced for city centre. Warm weather so great to have the garden with comfy chairs and umbrellas and the bar !
Disliked: Nothing. It is an old building, but has a charm about it. The bathroom in an ordinary room is quite snug, but there was ample hot water, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap and decent sized towels.

Excellent location and the size...

Liked: Excellent location and the size of the rooms. I've stayed at this hotel many times and it's one of my favourite place to stay.

Wasn’t good value for money....

Liked: Early check in, friendly staff.
Disliked: Very tired, reminded me of an old people’s home/hospital. Needs some serious updates, floor in the room had stains on, curtains were like what my nan had in 1965, tv sound wouldn’t turn up/down.
