Stay when there is not...

Liked: Outdoor spaces, food and bar, clean and comfortable rooms
Disliked: Bathroom lighting and a wedding party that was loud, rude and intrusive. Took over the bar and food service so it was difficult to enjoy

Very nice, but not great...

Liked: I appreciated the updated looks and design of this hotel. It was clean and the rooms are nicely styled. It's very nicely landscaped. My favorite part of the Inn is the the back grounds and pool area with places to walk and sit under trees which was very peaceful after a long drive.I also appreciated that they allow small dogs (though the fee at $50 per night is very high!) as I'm traveling with a pup.It's a convenient short distance from the main town area.
Disliked: I ended up paying $240 for my room (including the extra $50 for my dog). The value does not match the high price. There was contactless checkin (so never spoke to anyone, or got to check in early as requested). The bar was closed the night I was there (bc the internet was down). There was noisy road work when I stayed. While the design is nice my room looked onto the walkways and parking area.So while I like the Inn, the high price didn't match the experience for me.

Definitely my go to place...

Liked: Peaceful setting and very friendly caring staff. Unique decor and lovely coffee tea selection in room. Very quiet and restful

Very good

Liked: Location was perfect. Not too close or too far from downtown. The room size was also very good, as the parking area right in front of the room. The bed was very comfortable too.
Disliked: The main point that needs improvement is the shower that has very little pressure and taking a shower takes a longer than necessary time

Excellent location and Decor

Liked: The Wimberly Inn is quiet, tastefully done, and very comfortable. The decor was simple yet updated. Very clean. I cannot wait to stay here again.
