Super friendly staff and good...

Liked: Very friendly and good location
Disliked: Bed was very soft. Didn’t like the eave jutting into the room which meant I had to duck every time I went to the bathroom.

Liked: The location was great for our visit
Disliked: Although the room was labelled cosy the bed was a normal double & too small no wardrobe to hang clothes no shelf to put your toiletries & lighting poor around dressing table for applying make upLovely view of a pond full of algae

Liked: The evening meal was excellent and the service was great. The breakfast was also excellent so would definitely top here again as we travel to Scotland a lot for business and pleasure.
Disliked: Considering the style of hotel and rooms I thought the room rate was a little on the high side but other than that no other issues.

Disappointing

Disliked: Small room and extremely expensive for what you get. Both in the room and the restaurant. Staff were friendly.

Very good

Liked: Location, restaurant and staff were warm welcoming and go above and beyond supporting guests.
Disliked: The only tiny issue was the vent located above the door as you come in - proved very noisy and didn't go off at any point, was fine in the bedrooms once door was closed however time spent in lounge or dining area was overridden slightly by the constant humming. Not that we spent anytime in, this was a good base for our needs and would definitely return!
