Liked: the staff, the hotel, the location,
Disliked: no choice of a cooked breakfast, only continental 😞

Lovely staff, all very helpful...

Liked: Lovely setting.
Disliked: Tiny room, a little bit disappointed, the slope of the roof didn’t allow me to stand upright in a lot of the floor space.We should have spent more money and perhaps got a larger room.

Luckily enough we are back...

Liked: The property has apparently just been updated and it showed. The room was excellent - a very good size, comfy bed and first class fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was also excellent. we opted for a continental although a cooked breakfast was included in the price.
Disliked: Can't really think of any negatives TBH.

Half way stop

Liked: The hotel was lovely, the staff were really friendly and the food was really tasty.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was small and as such didn't have anywhere to sit aside from the bed. The bed wasn't very comfy, however we would definitely return, would just choose a different room.

Liked: I simply can't say enough nice things about this property. A beautiful, serene location. Exceptional service. The owner is an absolute gentleman & went above & beyond for us.
Disliked: The only thing that we disliked was the fact that we had to leave. We look forward to another visit down the road.

Charming, welcoming and 5 star...

Liked: Lovely 2 night stay in the gorgeous Willowbeck Lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were warmly welcomed each time we used the hotel's facilities. Food was fresh and of a superb standard, both breakfast and evening meal. Attention to every detail can be seen and the housekeeping staff are doing a great job, the lodge was spotless. Location ideal for both a day out in Carlisle and to jump back on the motorway.A little gem.... not to be missed.We will be back.
