Disliked: The booking .com said it had a shower. This was in fact a shower attachment to the taps with no possibility of using it stood up, being that it was in the eaves of the house and the ceiling height above it was only 4 feet. Very difficult to get in and out of the bath if you have any mobility/flexibility problems. Neither of the bedside lights worked and the main room light had no switch next to the bed.

Liked: The location of the BnB was excellent for exploring nearby National Trust properties and the Jodrell Bank. It had a lovely garden. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable.
Disliked: We were in the top floor room which had two separate bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had a window that didn't open. If it had been hot, that occupant would have been very uncomfortable. As it was, I left my small window open all night with the blinds up so that we could get air circulation to the other room. One other incredibly annoying aspect was the light just inside the door which goes on at the slightest movement. It was blinking on and off constantly, day and night. The bathtub is beneath a slanted ceiling so you can't stand up in it for a shower (hand-held).

Slight disappointment

Liked: A pitstop for travelling to the lake District.Room was good. Tea/coffee and essentials were great.Breakfast was very organised. Ladies were very friendly and polite.Breakfast was lovely
Disliked: Booked and payed for a deluxe room, but looking at the website, we got the classic room, but still payed for deluxe room...

Relaxing comfortable stay.

Liked: Very comfortable, clean, situated in a very picturesque area.Excellent breakfastEverything that we needed, extra touches of bottled water, mints, biscuits, great selection of tea and coffee.Lovely bedding and towels and toiletries.Would have loved a swim in the pool but the weather was quite windy and cloudy but could have if we wanted to.Plenty of parking.Very quiet.
Disliked: Would have appreciated black out blinds at the window. That is my preference.

Liked: Great breakfast great scenery great location.
Disliked: Ceiling a little low as it slopes both sides, wife (who is quite tall) hit her head a couple of times in the bathroom and by the bed.
