A pleasant stay with only...
Liked: The breakfast was good as was the service, The location was ideal for visiting the area in an attractive setting. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Although we enjoyed our stay, the restrictive height in the room could be problematic. We also reported the toilet was not flushing efficiently,

Very good
Liked: Breakfast was basic and served in a refectory. Well cooked though.
Disliked: There was a very intrusive green light which stayed on all night in the disabled room. It caused my wife to have hardly any sleep. The other guests said they didn't have it in their rooms. I would suggest moving the light into the bathroom. Lovely location in a lovely village. We ate at the Vault on the Main Street which was excellent. Such a shame about the green light which spoiled our visit.

I had a restful stay...
Liked: They did an excellent job of providing a vegan hot breakfast, complete with oat milk for the coffee, and non-dairy spread. The location (an old abbey house in delightful grounds, surrounded by the ruins of the abbey church and associated outbuildings) is quite delightful, and the place has a unique atmosphere.
Disliked: In spite of slight limitations of space, perhaps inevitable when staying in a thirteenth-century abbey, I couldn’t have wished for better accommodation.
