Exceptional

Liked: Our first time staying here and we will be going back soon. Karl and Jocelyn were superb hosts. The room was very comfortable and very clean, Breakfast was the best and nothing too much trouble. Location was perfect for our stay as well. Probably one of the best Hotels we have stayed in.

Most enjoyable

Liked: Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was a generous size and comfortable. The only drawback was being on the side of the main road, but with extra window glazing we could block out the noise. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit and cooked options.
Disliked: no comments on this

Great and was really made...

Liked: Convenient for the trip I had planned . Hosts were keen on ensuring my stay was enjoyable with good restaurant suggestions . The room was very well equipped with a very comfortable bed and large enough to have some easy chairs to relax in.
Disliked: To have the use of a reception room rather than just going to my room.

Liked: The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, a real treat, Karl and Jocelyn are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble, so easy to get on with, they could be friends for life. Karl is a great character, obviously has a broad experience of life and great to chat to. For us it was faultless stay, thank you. Don't hesitate.
Disliked: The parking is off site but that is typical of central town stays, there's not a lot happening in Dorchester but its so convenient to take the 10 minute train ride to Weymouth, with the bonus of no need to drive if you want a drink. Lets be clear, this would be our first choice to stay should we be in the area again.
