Dating back to 1550 this magnificent hall offers elegant rooms surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful scenery. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site and the center of Stafford is a 10-minute drive away. The building still features many of its original Elizabethan features including open stone fireplaces and oak beams in many of the rooms. A continental breakfast is provided each morning. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea in Weston Hall's Cellar Bar and Lounge with delicate sandwiches warm scones and clotted cream. Cocktails pre-dinner drinks and snacks are served in the evening and locally sourced ingredients are used to make tasty favorites like homemade pie and steaks. Character property with excellent contemporary...

Liked: Character property with an excellent service and brilliant food. We we staying for a visit to Cannock Chase and pretty much everything about the stay was spot on. Excellent warm welcome and check in process, bags carried up to room, great evening meal in the restaurant. Nice walk around the grounds. Place is modern and well presented considering that its been around since the 1500's fascinating to read the history of the place. Continental Breakfast was fresh and generous, with the option of paying extra for the cooked. We didn't feel the need and left very full anyway.
Disliked: It's an old building, think narrow corridors, "mind your head" beams and big rocks in the walls. Don't expect a lift. Might not be great if you had accessibility issues.
