Dating back to 1550 this magnificent hall offers elegant rooms surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful scenery. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site and the center of Stafford is a 10-minute drive away. The building still features many of its original Elizabethan features including open stone fireplaces and oak beams in many of the rooms. A continental breakfast is provided each morning. Great room. Fantastic view. Worth...

Good in parts....

Liked: Staff really friendly, food in bar was good.Breakfast good too.
Disliked: Plumbing in ensuite was really noisy, as was the one in the adjoining bedroom ensuite.Mirrors too low in both bathroom and bedroom. Alarm clock went off at 6.00am!

Would consider staying again but...

Liked: Fantastic staff, lovely grounds, comfy bed. Nice amenities in room and lovely features.
Disliked: Very thin walls so was woken early by the room next door in the bathroom. Could hear brushing teeth and plumbing was so loud every time toilet was flushed or tap was run.
