Dating back to 1550 this magnificent hall offers elegant rooms surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful scenery. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site and the center of Stafford is a 10-minute drive away. The building still features many of its original Elizabethan features including open stone fireplaces and oak beams in many of the rooms. A continental breakfast is provided each morning. We would consider staying again,...

Liked: Lovely room and location. Stayed in the Weston room.The duck main meal was very tasty.
Disliked: The music outside was playing quite late, even though there was no one outside the whole evening and it kept us awake. Also the bathroom door only closed properly if you locked it as the bolt held the door in place.There was only 1 vegetarian main course option on the menu, it was overcooked and bland. Plenty of lovely choices for meat eaters - no good for vegetarians.When we checked out no-one asked us if we had enjoyed our stay, or indeed for any feedback.

Very nice place

Liked: Just an overnight stay and arrived quite late. The lady at the desk was really welcoming and helpful. Excellent continental breakfast with lovely fresh fruit. Very happy with my short stay.
