Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Ashley, Nacogdoches, visiting Punch Line Houston Mon, 23 January 2017

Besides the stuff listed above.... We got up the next morning to a dead battery. Went to the front desk and the lady wouldn't do anything to help. I'm alone with my daughter 300 miles away from home and had no idea who to call. I asked multiple employees only to be told "I'm busy". Finally 2 hours later, 1 man who worked there, who didn't even own a car helped me flag someone down AND find some jumper cables so we could get home. To top it off I was charged full price, not the internet discount price. We will definitely be staying elsewhere next time.

Disliked: Oh where to start... TV volume down didn't work; you do not have control of your heat/air; the ceilings were leaking so there were buckets everywhere. The place was dirty (including our sheets) but the worst thing was my car breaking down and not getting any help whatsoever.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Christopher, Corpus Christi, visiting Bayou Music Center Sun, 4 October 2015

Disliked: The room was small. I reserved a no smoking but my pillow smelled of nothing but smoke. The ceiling had a repair and it didn't even match the rest of it - not textured at all. The lights were nice except the unfinished fixture right next to it. Bathroom was small but the shower had been redone and looked fairly nice. A/C did it's job very well. Walls were paper thin - we heard every door open and close. I woke up at 4am and the doors made it hard to fall back asleep, but my daughter slept well. No ice machine - had a cooler in the lobby with ice bags. Morning coffee was horrible - I couldn't even drink it. I did 12 years in the Navy so I know about coffee. I stayed in room 204. Now for the parking - not bad at all. Was able to park right next to the lobby and could see my truck as soon as I walked down the stairs. I wished I had taken pictures of this place or if they had pictures I would have stayed somewhere else. Some may say why did you stay and it's because I'm a CHL holder.

Poor - 1.5 out of 5

I wouldn’t recommend staying here!

Disliked: The pictures of this location looked nothing like the online photos. The pool was disgusting. They had absolutely no vending machines or breakfast. The staff had a few snacks from Sam’s Club behind the desk that you could purchase. The room was very outdated and old looking. Kinda dirty and dusty behind the bed and corners. We booked through booking.com and once arriving we were charged a second fee which was higher than the first. She said “that’s how it’s done”. Been waiting on our refund for the second charge for a couple of weeks now. Last but not least the left side of the beds outlet didn’t work so we had to run an extension cord.
