Cheap and dated. The staff...
Liked: Good location.
Disliked: It’s old a slightly worn out. Looks like it could do with some refurbishing. Nothing too bad but just not great. In the last morning there was no hot water so had to have a cold shower.

Good enough.
Liked: Decently updated furnishings and in a fantastic location within walking distance of all sorts of shops and restaurants. It did the job.
Disliked: A bit dated, old and worn carpets in the halls. Elevator was broken. All deadbolts have been taken out of the doors for “fire safety reasons” which was super weird. Very dusty room and bathroom floor wasn’t clean. TV remote was broken.

Poor
Liked: The hotel was cheap and we didn’t expect much but unfortunately it still fell short of our low expectations. I wasn’t going to leave a review but having tried to have a sensible conversation with a member of staff the next morning to highlight the issues I was met with quite a rude arrogance and just told that it should have been raised the night before and it soon became obvious they weren’t the sensible type that wanted some feedback on how to improve their shabby tired and dirty hotel. On arrival we were told the lift didn’t work and the restaurant was closed, we were placed on the top floor of what appeared to be an empty hotel and there was no offer of assistance with the bags. The room and corridor felt more like a sauna. There was thick dust on nearly every surface. The toilet cistern lid was broken with a big crack that had been covered by silicone in an attempt to make it better. The window was a big sliding type that opened approx 75cm which allowed plenty of room for a child to fall out of and given we were a family in a family room on the second floor you would have expected some form of safety. The shower went from hot to cold whenever it wanted. The TV always had sound but the picture only appeared in varying degrees of visibility when it wanted. If you want a themed hotel that is loosely based on Fawlty Towers then this is the place for you. This place has potential due to its great location but unfortunately the conditions we found and the attitude of the staff when approached massively let it down, stay at your peril.
