Liked: Both beds were comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Very cramped room, insufficient storage, poor facilities, TV could only be watched by lying in bed. We chose this accommodation based on the description and pictures on the website. Reality proved quite different.In addition, a bereavement at home meant that we chose to leave early but were grateful for Mrs Huggins's understanding in reducing the final bill.

Liked: Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The room was rather small and cramp because of too much furniture. Leaving the Carpark was not easy because of restricted visibility.

Exceptional

Liked: Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Everything I could have wanted for continental breakfast and more. Parking right next to accommodation.

Liked: I can't recommend Wayside highly enough. Moira and Pete were such wonderful hosts. At no point did I even feel like a guest... I felt like a friend. Room:The room was spotless, the shower perfect. Breakfast was lovely and set up in our own fridge. Ham, cheese, bread, toaster, coffee, tea, cereals, juice, grapes. Absolutely lovely. The view from the room was gorgeous. Yellow fields as far as the eye could see. Other:They have the sweetest little dog, Archie, who made my daughter's day (ok my day as well!). The outside feels like you're in the Mediterranean. Beautiful set up. The house is full of amazing art, a must stay for a creative.Had the pleasure to sit and chat to Moira during the evening and it was so comfortable and easy going. My daughter played for ages with their granddaughter too. Really calm atmosphere.Wonderful people. Loved every second and will definitely come back soon. Thank you so much guys. Absolute highlight of our little weekend away.

Overall a very pleasant stay...

Liked: Lovely countryside location. Room was small but comfortable. Bedfing was fresh and clean. A range of breakfast foods and beverages were provided in the room. The hosts were very generous with what was provided.
Disliked: Noise from adjoining rooms was disturbing.

Liked: Very generous self service breakfast.
Disliked: Moving floorboards. When our hosts moved about in their room next door the floor in our room moved. It was a bit strange the first time it happened.
