Liked: Location is perfect , away from mid-town intensity.Plenty of things to do on the doorstep. Hotel staff were helpful and we upgraded rooms halfway through to get better views which the staff arranged quickly for usAlso very helpful arranging airport taxi
Disliked: First room was limited in window light as it looked onto walls (pretty common in NYC so not a major issue) Rooms were a bit hot and we don't like having to use Aircon , specially in April

I would recommend this hotel...

Liked: I loved the location of the hotel, It was very close to NYU. The staff were so nice and everything was perfect. Free tea from the restaurant in the evening was so nice. Two single beds ans they were very comfortable. Even though I booked for one, they didn’t mind my daughter staying with me.
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like was the noise of the air conditioning outside the room but I got used to it. Obviously no view but I didn’t expect it for the price.

Issues with Heating System

Liked: Amazing location in the West Village/NYU campus.
Disliked: Our room was uncomfortably hot and we couldn’t adjust the thermostat. One side of the building was built later than the rest and tends to overheat. We were kindly moved on our last night to a much more comfortable room.

Excellent value with spacious rooms...

Liked: Great location. Greenwich Village a great spot to stay and Subway very close by.Unique hotel style and decor very appealing.Staff friendly and helpful.Rooms more spacious than Midtown hotels.Rooms well equipped and clean. Vary comfortable.Great value.
