Decent stay for the money.
Liked: The location was a good jumping off point for lots of stops in Cincinnati. We went to the zoo, museum center and went to a Reds game and all of this was very drivable from the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that there is a parking garage adjacent to the hotel, and while not owned by the hotel, you can purchase a parking pass from the front desk that makes coming and going easy. The front desk and breakfast buffet staff was so very friendly and accommodating. (Note: we had included breakfast and did not know there would be wait staff the first morning and did not bring any money from the room for a tip. We corrected this the next morning). The common areas were clean and well kept. Even being in the middle of downtown we felt very safe, although we were not out past 10.
Disliked: The room was mediocre. Visual very nice but fairly impractical. We had an accessible suite and it was not that accessible save for the bathroom. The room layout was weird with the closet right as you enter the room, which is clear across from the bedroom. The “living room” part with the pullout couch is fine until you have the bed out. It left literally 4” at the foot of the bed to scoot around which basically blocked the bathroom. The bed in the room was also quite high, and would have been a big challenge for someone in a wheelchair. The room was booked for 4 people and they consistently only left towels for 2. The hotel did not have enough staff to bring towels to the room so we had to stop by the desk to get more. Not the end of the world, but does require some planning! They also provide door hangers that say do not disturb on one side and then “I’m away, please clean my room” or something to that effect on the other side…however if you put that up, just expect housekeeping to skip your room, regardless of what side you hang facing out. We asked about it at the front desk and they said that it’s a problem they have tried to address. Again, not the end of the world but disappointing when you need more towels! We had used ours to help soak up the water from the shower because there is no lip or edge to the shower in order to be accessible which leads to lots of water in the bathroom despite using the curtain. The pool area was nice and clean, but COLD as it’s indoors and air conditioned. The water was fairly warm but you get super cold the minute your head is above water.

I would not recommend or...
Liked: Location
Disliked: Coffee pot didn’t work, shower had broken tile around drain, parking was not included. The price of the hotel was way too much for what it was. For the cost I would have expected breakfast included.

Nice hotel, centrally located
Liked: Location was close to the concert venue we went toShowers were phenomenal
Disliked: 2 things - AC in room was controlled by wall thermostat, which we did not know until calling the front desk. A sign for guests would be helpful and alleviate unnecessary calls to the staff. Parking for guests staying at the hotel should be complimentary/ included in room rate.
