Exceptional

Liked: Location was fantastic, right in the town centre and close to everyrhing. The staff were very friendly. A comfortable stay in the oldest inn.
Disliked: Nothing

Ideal location but let down...

Liked: Location was fine, bar area was OK, free parking was a definite plus.
Disliked: Room was VERY tired and needed attention. Dust, cobwebs, decor all needed attention. For the cost - plus breakfast on top it was not value for money.

Liked: Staff very friendly and smiling!!!!! Food was great.
Disliked: If I had to find a negative, I'd say it would be nice to have some biscuits and water in the rooms.

Perfect Location, Great Hotel

Liked: location right in the centre of Stafford, a good selection of beers and spirits as well as food menu, we all enjoyed our evening meal there and a few games of pool later. Breakfast was lovely the next day too.The building is Grade II Listed and the rooms are a bit creaky and rustic due to this, but it was an enjoyable stay.
Disliked: Only issue with Grade II listed buildings is the floors, we were on the ,middle level and it sounded like we had a baby elephant above us walking backwards and forwards in their room in the evening an early morning
