Village Hotel Farnborough

Disappointing

Liked: Nice size room and shower, easy to find and the check in process was straightforward.
Disliked: It was very noisy, my room was overlooking the outside seating area at the front of the hotel that is linked to the bar. There was a lot of noise coming from there, and the room seemed poorly insulated. I was woken i. The morning by a conversation coming from an adjacent room, I could hear their conversation clearly.

ACC Army Veterans reunion weekend...

Liked: Stayed over for an Army reunion, lunch meeting etc. great facilities, loved the spacious room and a good size double bed, loved the bed and comfy pillows, food lovely, spacious bar, great TV area, Costa coffee cafe area, I didn't use the gym or swimming pool..loved my weekend thank you 👍
Disliked: Was very inconvenient no lift working, I have leg problems..But they had a member of bar staff help me use the service elevator to get up to my room. Most helpful 👍

Very enjoyable stay.

Liked: The room was fine and although it overlooked the outside seating area, noise wasn't a problem. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly all the time.
Disliked: Not a great deal really. Perhaps some gluten-free choices on the menu?

Disliked: Carpet in room not hoovered properly, previous guest hair all over bathroom floor, and dirty bar glasses left outside bedroom door

Disliked: Self check-in process - everyone who tried to check in was having a problem and no staff around to help. Bring back a “normal” reception!
