Great modern hotel

Disliked: Prices in bar were extortionate £14 for small wine and 0% beer.Breakfast bland, waffles stale and little amounts out

Liked: The bar/grill downstairs had very good open/closing times for serving food. General location Spa/gym facilities there if wanted
Disliked: There was an issue with the shower in our room.During check in we were told if we booked breakfast it would be £12.50 instead of £17.50, so I booked for the next day. When I got into the room there was an "information sheet" which gave a qr code to book breakfast for only £10. So that was a tad annoying. When I went down for breakfast the next day, my room wasn't on the list so I had to wait until another member of staff did some additional checks. I ended up showing my banking app that the £12.50 had been paid and then they eventually found it on the system. Not the worst thing but I felt a little like they thought I was having them on until I showed them the payment, clearly needs something correcting with their system.
