Good room, bit overall could...

Liked: Good location, big rooms
Disliked: We had made 3 separate bookings, so I called ahead to be able to stay in the same room and be on a higher floor. Told this was all sorted. Got there - no record or notes had been made, so wasted time trying to get checked in. The new room was not ready - so the lady suggested we waited in the bar and have a drink - £17 for a glass of Whispering Angel, daylight robbery. Housekeeping did not come into the room - and we were there for 3 days.

Liked: The facilities in the property were as one would expect for this Hotel chain
Disliked: The breakfast experience was pretty basic, with staff not managing to clear tables and reset them to facilitate the flow of guests and therefore some guests were having to clear away dirty plates etc so their party could sit closer togetherThe hot breakfast items such as sausages aren’t of a quality that one would expect for the price charged for breakfast Consideration should be given to having the bacon on some sort of perforated tray in the chaffing dish, so that the bacon isn’t sitting in oil as you get towards the bottom layers
