Liked: Sekt at breakfast very nice. Looked for nuts and seeds. Didn't find them, but not important. Good coffee, cooked products and bread. Relaxed atmosphere. Very pleasant experience.
Disliked: The dinner was extremely slow. Apparently 3 people were ill in the kitchen, and couldn't be replaced. We have experienced this in several hotels and restaurants recently. It seems to be a growing problem. We have eaten here before, and the service was always good. We were offered am free glass of wine each, which we gratefully accepted!

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Rooms are very quiet and the location is really nice right next to a park. Comfy bed and nice pillows. You can dim the room with good darkening curtains and the park view is really nice.
Disliked: The location is a bit remote so there's really only the park and it's geese to keep company. If you need to get groceries - there's a bit of a walk to the nearest store. If you want to go to Saarbrücken city centre - you'll need to take a taxi or a bus.

Liked: The first lady at the reception for check in and the easy parking
Disliked: Apart from the lady at check in, the staff was rude, patronising and disrepectful. The main waiter at the restaurant could not speak English and did not even to try to make himself understandable. When speaking to him in English, he would reply in German with a patronising tone. The lady at the reception kindly explained to us that in Germany we could not smoke indoors including in bus (lol, again patronising). Great experience of the German stereotype! I would not recommend this place unless you speak German or you don't mind the disrespect. Definitely not worth it.
