The hotel is in a walking distance CUNY Graduate Center (2 minutes!). My room was great, very clean, and then provided water every day, coffee (for coffee maker) and cookies. It was a very pleasant stay with very friendly front desk staff! I come to the CUNY quite often, so next time I will stay again at this hotel!

Liked: The location is great!
Disliked: The street outside is quite noisy, and the windows are thin. You need earplugs for sleeping.I think they could invest into better windows to isolate the noise from the street.

Great location, great staff, friendly...

Liked: The staff was very helpful & friendly answering questions on where some places were that we wanted to visit & how to navigate the subway & city in general. Very much appreciated! Plus, the location is perfect! We could walk out the front door & head in any direction & walk to a lot of places we wanted to see. Extra bonus for only being a half block away from the Empire State Building & Macy's! :)
Disliked: I have no complaints whatsoever & will be booking with U Hotel on my next visit to NYC!
