Beautiful room in a great...

Liked: The room is lovely and the location is unbeatable. The astronomical clock is on your doorstep.
Disliked: I wish the staff were more present, it did not feel very personable. I like to get local recommendations from the hosts if possible.

Liked: Super good location by the old centre, very close to everything you would like to see, but quiet at the same time. The room is really spacious and comfortable , with a vintage touch. Pavel is really friendly and explained we needed to know.Highly recommended.

Disliked: Disastrous Stay: No Water and No Refund!We planned to stay at this property for three nights, and after a peaceful first night, we woke up to find there was no water at all—no sink, no shower, no toilet. At first, we assumed it was a temporary issue and went out to explore the city. However, when we returned in the afternoon, the problem persisted.We contacted the host, who confirmed the issue and assured us that the water would be restored by the next morning. No alternative solutions were offered, and communication was poor and unhelpful.The next day, there was still no water, and we only found out through the cleaning staff (not the host, who remained completely unresponsive) that the issue would last at least another day. Their "solution"? Six bottles of SPARKLING water to wash ourselves!Frustrated and unable to use basic facilities, we contacted Booking and decided to move to another accommodation. The host had promised a refund, but in the end, we didn’t even get reimbursed for the night we didn’t stay.To make matters worse, at check-in, they required us to provide a credit card number and expiration date as a “guarantee,” claiming this was standard practice in the Czech Republic. However, we didn’t experience this at any other accommodation, and the request seemed highly suspicious.Terrible place, unacceptable management. Avoid at all costs!

Authentic small guest house in...

Liked: This was a beautiful place to stay- a very historical building in the heart of the old town. The room was huge and well appointed with comfy armchairs and the best beds and pillows we have had in a long time! Despite several bars in the square, the walls and windows were so thick you couldn't hear them at all once in the room. Staff were so lovely.
Disliked: Was difficult to carry bags up the stairs, however the staff helped to do this.
