It's a local mom and...

Liked: This is an old style motel. It's exactly at a traffic circle ( round about) of three state highways. It's also only minutes from the ocean. I am sure, years ago, this was the perfect spot for a motel. Now? It is at the top of a local street in a good neighborhood. The place still has it's origanal "charm". It is "spartan" but complete. It had a television, a microwave, a fridge; good towels, the water was hot. You park your car right in front of your room. The price was right. It was very clean. I didn't travel hundreds of miles to stay in this room... I came to do other things and simply sleep and wash up in this room. It was perfect for that.
Disliked: It was just what I expected. The photos are accurate.

Best Value Motel By Jersey...

Liked: Our room had a full size bed and a twin bed with a good size fridge (freezer section worked!) and microwave. It was lovely that Twin Oaks Motel had a pool which felt like our own private pool, so that was fun! While this motel is on a busy highway roundabout, you actually don't really hear the road noise and can get a good night's sleep. The AC worked and staff were friendly to provide a hair dryer when I needed one. It's a nice walk toward the center of Manasquan and a sports park is not far away.
Disliked: The bedding was slightly dated/seemed to have some lipstick mark or something on the heavier blanket but it was comfortable. There's not much to not like so I think if anyone wants great value for their inflated dollar, this is it by the shore!
