Excellent staff all around. Friendly and engaging every time we stay here. Everyone from the front desk to house keeping are top notch. On this stay Roberto and GM Joseph Macedo went above and beyond. TRYP Newark is the only place we will stay for our yearly visit back home.

When we got to our room there was only one bed (thought I booked 2 beds); no chair and we had what looked like dried blood on our light switch! Called the front desk. They changed our room. We still had only 1 bed and when I pulled the bedding down there was hair in the bed. We were exhausted and made the best of it. Hoping never to go back!

Disliked: Blood on our light switch; hair in my bed.

We do t have clean...

Liked: Nothing had to drive home at 1am.
Disliked: The room was dirty and had bugs. I ask for clean sheets They responded we don't have clean sheets.we pulled back the comforter and sheets were dirty.

Not Newarks Best

Liked: The location was excellent. Walking distance to almost everything.
Disliked: The facilities smelled faintly of a sewage issue. Our tv worked intermittently. Room was just…ok.
