Liked: I love the efficiency of the design of the room and the size. It is smaller than many other hotel rooms but much easier to organize your things. Very clean and comfy.
Disliked: The sound insulation between the rooms wasn't great.

Liked: What I did like was the breakfast and coffee. I liked the wifi and loction of building.
Disliked: Front desk service on 6/28/25 at 9:55pm could have been more pleasant but understandable I suppose considering the lobby was full. My bathroom wall had stains that I had to clean off on it. The lobby closed completely at 10:00pm.

Liked: Clean, smelled great! Great location

Spartan for the cost, but...

Liked: Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Value for cost; it was a bit spartan for the cost. There wasn't even a coffee maker in the room. The shades weren't room darkening, so the lights from the side of the building we were on were somewhat intrusive. Couldn't find a "Constant On" control for the air, which I appreciate since it helps me sleep.

Liked: Clean and no carpet
Disliked: No coffee pot in room

Best Stay EVER!!

Liked: This hotel is inviting, througholy cleaned, safe, and is in a wonderful location.
Disliked: Two punks that were staying there at the same time (in Room 200) kept harassing me simply because I walked beside their truck while I was walking around the parking lot. Other than that, there was nothing I did not enjoy!

The tru review

Liked: Tru is my home away from home in any city I'm in. Gastonia did not disappoint when there's opened. I have stayed her multiple times and the service is alway great as well as the room and the noise level.
Disliked: The room is not huge it's nice and cozy
