Disappointing

Liked: I only liked the room becos for 3 adults was a bit spacious and we had small fridge in the room and for us was so important . The room and the surfaces of the window seals and the furniture were a bit dirty.
Disliked: I didn't liked the breakfast becos as we were gluten intolerant there were nothing to eat and even when I asked they provide nothing. They even didn't try to provide. But at least one of the receptionist whom she was a female she was nice and helpful when we asked something for help and she guided us well

Great location

Liked: Excellent location and decent breakfast. The hotel is very well situated, across Hyde Park and in an area with many restaurants and bars.
Disliked: The elevator did not work and there was not AC.

Really happy with everything, just...

Disliked: The breakfast was awful, really poor selection and let the hotel down massively

Exceptional

Liked: Double room was very spacious. It was very hot but we we're fortunate to have air con which for any one who comes here is on the 1st 2 floors. Breakfast was continental and there was more then enough to fill you up had no problem with the quality either. Staff we're superb very efficient and helpful. Destination was great. On the doorstep of Hyde park,bus stopend of road,2 underground lines within 10 minutes walk and plenty bars and restaurants. Deffo come back again
Disliked: 1 negative all be it a small one was the pillows very thin, 2 didn't seem enough

Charming Location, Warm Staff—but Summer...

Liked: What we enjoyed:We recently stayed at the Troy Hotel in London and found several aspects of our experience truly enjoyable. The location is superb—right across from Kensington Gardens, in a vibrant, lively neighborhood with plenty of dining options and quick access to multiple Underground stations. It made getting around the city incredibly convenient. The hotel itself has charm and personality, with clear potential. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. From the front desk to the maintenance team, everyone was warm, attentive, and consistently helpful. Their professionalism added a personal touch that elevated our stay
Disliked: What disappointed us:Unfortunately, there were some aspects that made our stay less comfortable than we hoped. Most notably, the rooms lacked air conditioning—a serious drawback during the summer months. We quite literally simmered in our room at night, making it difficult to rest after long days exploring the city. Additionally, the elevator was frequently out of service. Being placed on the fifth floor turned what should have been a minor inconvenience into a daily logistical challenge, especially when dealing with luggage. While we didn’t spend much time in the room during the day, the discomfort at night made it hard to fully.
