AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE...

Liked: The only positive about the TravelLodge is the location, for me, anyway. It's close to my job and right off the highway. Other than that...STAY FAR AWAY!!
Disliked: Where to begin...The lady that checked us in was unbelievably rude. I made the mistake of reserving a room without a kitchenette, which was needed because of how long my partner and I were staying there (19 nights, 20 days) so I explained to the young lady working the front desk the situation and how ill pay extra if they have a room available with a kitchenette. She initially told me I must upgrade the room THRU them versus upgrading the room thru booking.com, so I asked for pricing and what she quoted me was wayyy more than booking.com, so while I standing there I went a head and upgraded the room thru the app and when I did that... IT UPSET THE HELL OUTTA HER. She legit got mad about that and said how they can't accept that because I have to pay thru them which again made no sense. The reality is she wanted me to pay 10x the amount booking.com offered. So a $156 upgrade thru booking.com would be a $496 upgrade thru the front desk and she expected me to do that?! She thought I was dumb. Because I called her on that and went thru the app, she forced me to stay inside the lobby and asked me to contact the booking.com to have them call her to confirm I paid for the upgrade even through I showed her the confirmation email and receipt of the upgrade she was salty over not asking that sale and acted like that wasn't enough (a whole confirmation receipt wasn't enough proof of payment apparently) so 45mins later I'm still on the phone with booking.com because she required they actually call her on a landlines versus sending her an email on their end confirming payment was made. Even when they sent the email (they sent it 3-4x because she kept claiming to receive it) she just stared at the computer screen and every time I asked if she got it yet.. she would say, "ma'am quite please I'm reading..." like WHATT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW???
